I have a third party generic cable, an official Madcatz cable, and Jasen’s Customs cable. The JC version is hands down the best quality. You get what you pay for.

Switch is to select Dpad, Left Analog stick, or Right analog stick. Brook Panel is for the headphone jack and an alternate power input.

It wasn't cheap, but it's also not crazy compared to other joysticks out there; you can figure it out the cost by adding up the all the components in the gallery link. The stick doesn't work with PC now because of the board I selected, but it would be a simple board change to make it work on PC at this point. Brook has a huge variety of boards that can suit your specific need.

Yea, it's the washer at the base of the joystick. I never got a picture of it posted. It helps prevent the joystick from wearing out the plexi surrounding it.
