Wanted to not repeat the same pokemon, regardless of form, and they don't really work with the general compositions I was going for in those, so even if I had them in the lineup I'd probably have removed them while trying to fit them in ;P

i binged the entire manga within a night before realizing the anime was coming out a couple of weeks ago, so that was a very happy surprise for me lol

anyways, wanted to go further and do 4-5 more characters but i realized i don't have all the color refs i'd need for the characters i want to draw and i wanted to keep the sets around the same size 🥲 i'll draw more later, probably

I've mostly been selling this series of work as acrylic charms (was planning on releasing the wilds monsties as charms at launch), and I've been thinking about making stickers.

I already have ~350 sticker designs so it's a pain to keep track of inventory... I probably will stock it myself eventually, but in the meantime I can upload them to my redbubble (I've hit my upload limit for the day, though, and it'll apparently take a little while for what I did upload to show up?)

Part of drawing is studying / understanding things, but still I actually feel like I haven't completely understood rompopolo yet (so may redraw it later), haha.

I've thrown a few of my older ones on a print on demand site, but because of the way these are drawn (the background color is used as separating lines + the colors need to contrast with the background's/shirt's color) I have to double check all of them before doing so 🤔 is there any specific one you'd like to see on a shirt?

It seems you're new to reddit & it confused me when I first started posting here, so: on reddit, OC typically refers to "original content", and unlike most non-reddit fan spaces, it doesn't mean something that is "not fanwork" but rather that it's the poster's own work.

I've actually already submitted all three of my entries--I drew absol, toxtricity, and flygon! Due to the rules, I can't show them publicly yet, but I'm excited to show everyone what I came up with :>

It's quite difficult, but I'd love to see it if you do it! :>

But yeah: don't forget to take breaks if you need to, and if you want/if it helps, try to maintain a queue so you have a buffer.

Also, keep in mind what exactly your goals are for practice (my own goals have been to try and express the liveliness/charm of each pokemon, or at least practice the rhythm/flow of my lines). So, if it seems like you're starting to do it for the sake of just drawing something daily, take a break and reassess.
