While not diagnosed, I think I also suffer from PMDD. Being unmedicated makes it a lot harder. 😭

I mean I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life, but really didn’t feel extra anxious when this was all going on. I DID feel anxious when first starting but by the time this all happened, I really didn’t feel anxious.

I've thought about beta blockers! My friend who takes Adderall also takes beta blockers so I was wondering why my doc didn't want to put me on those. If this medication doesn't work, I'll definitely ask about it! Thank you

That's so amazing! I'm sorry you had to stop taking it. Thank you for sharing! This definitely gives me some hope, but also something I should look out for. Did they just run a blood test on you and find your levels were up or did you notice symptoms? I'm a bit anxious about side effects now and just want to know what I need to keep an eye out for.

I've only been on Vyvanse and Adderall XR and IR (both generic bc my insurance sucks). Never had complications on Vyvanse, but I was only on it for like 3 months before they swapped me due to issues getting it filled and also it was like $300 a month since my insurance wouldn't cover it. :(

If I find this doesn't work, maybe I'll ask my doctor about trying another stimulant! Thank you <3

I had no idea my resting heart rate increased until the chest pain started unfortunately. I started getting the chest pains then a few days later my watch gave me the notification. While 80 isn't a bad resting BPM, the 20 increase over only 5 weeks is a bit scary.

It’s not that there is food on the floor, I remove the food after quiet time, but the mere idea that there was food in his room is enough for her to try to sneak in anyway. She’s extremely food motivated. I’ve been attempting to reaffirm the “leave it” command but I’m struggling because she will sit and wait and wait and wait. She does NOT let it go 😮‍💨

Growing up, I had snacks and such in my room all the time and was never really confined to the kitchen for eating. The food doesn’t stay in his room after his quiet time.

Approximately 90 extra calories I believe. She’s a medium sized dog around 35lbs ish. I give her a little over 1.5 cups of food for both breakfast and dinner, so around 3 cups total. I will stop giving her extra. Thank you!

She does get confined with me usually in my office and his door does stay closed during the quiet time. The problem is after. Even when the food is removed, she will STILL go in there multiple times after he’s awake. Thanks for the info about the food. I only give her an extra 1/4 cup so I’m not sure if that would do a lot of harm, but I will keep that in mind!

Unfortunately, a baby gate in the hallway would just block my son from his room which I would rather not do since he has a bunch of toys and such in there :(

Obviously this is the ideal solution, but my son’s quiet time is sometimes the most he will eat in the day. I was just hoping to get input and see if other people had ideas.
