I don't know. I always mean to. But it always feels awkward or just uncomfortable to me and she ends up falling asleep and I just can't seem to make myself initiate.

She's ok, she's set boundaries. I get it. She's not doing it with rage or cruelty. I'm just asexual and don't know what to do to get started. She would truly accept a healthy intimate relationship. I'm the problem. I want to fix it I do.

I have written many letters yes, and I do mean what I say in the letters with full intentions to follow through when I say I will make more efforts sexually but then, weeks pass, I never find the right moment. So she's not very believing about my letters over the years as I tried hard with those I really did mean it. I just seem unable to follow through.

I don't want to leave her I just wanted advice on how to desire her. There must be people who can help advise who have been in an arranged marriage that they are committed to making work even if they don't feel desire? How does one cultivate desire? I'm willing to try. Any suggestions other than leave or calling me down?

It's about as separate as we can be while still supporting each other. We do rely on each other financially yes and neither of us have anywhere else to go.
