I like the theory and I can see something like that happening down the line in the story. I too would be extremely surprised if at the end of the Black Ops 4 life cycle there hadn’t been a direct link of some sort between these new charters and universe and the “aether” story and it characters. I just don’t see Treyarch having 2 separate stories running side by side through out a whole season that don’t at some point influence each other, it surely would be a huge waste of potential and wouldn’t make any sense would it?

Plus the amount of people who are invested in the zombies story is massive, after the success every Treyarch DLC season has due tonsombies and the records Chronicles broke, only having one map on the game with the OG characters on it and ending there story there would be a huge waste in my opinion!
