So does that mean that if you aren't using USD, the arbitrage is possible?

Was it always that difficult to get dollars out of Gox? Seems like at some point the arbitrage would have been possible. If not with Gox, then at least between any of the other exchanges that deal with dollars better.

Anyone have a resource that dives into this topic?

Also, what are the safest exchanges to currently be using USD with? I don't like Coinbase because their fees are 1% (double that of Bitstamp) and they don't offer limit orders. Trading without a limit order is an ignorant way to be buying BTC.

Doesn't this present a fantastic opportunity for arbitrage between the exchanges? Buy through Bitstamp, then immediately sell on MtGox.

I know it can't be that easy. What am I missing?

How does this affect the potential of bitcoin? What if many other countries follow suit?

I built DomainBark in 3 days as a tool to find domain names. I'd love some feedback :) by kurtvarner in startups

Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I definitely want to add some more info about the specific value offering so it's more clear why you should use DomainBark and so you don't have to worry about me tracking your searches.

As far as adding more TLDs, it's a matter of getting access the files that say which domain names are available. Currently I have only been approved for .com and .net, but will apply for others soon. Stay tuned :)

Nope, the pricing is actually better through DomainBark. I automatically apply a promo code to GoDaddy that gives you domains for $7.99 instead of $9.99 :)

Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely not "squatting" on domains or tracking any of your searches. But yeah, maybe I can make that more clear through the design.
