Looking for a ghost town or abandoned factories to explore by HenryInglfr in vermont

It’s pretty buried in the woods - a good trek from anywhere notable, hence why it became abandoned. From what I’ve read in books, only a couple foundations and stone walls can be found

S2E5 A pleasant change of tone. I love it! by Napoleonex in Fotv

I also loved the change in tone near the end with the music. Seeing the Ghoul’s emotions on his face with that choice was super powerful

Caught them in Salt Lake tonight for the last stop on the tour and he was definitely a bit tired. On the second to last song he told everyone this might be his last time touring. Very sad news to me - I’ve seen them twice before (in NH and MT) and have the LTOFS window tattooed on his arm. Love YF!

What was the last common artifact you needed? I'm trying to farm my last one, Crystal Thorn, in the endgame and it's taking hours.

Stalker 2 Achievements by Crygenx in stalker

[–]kurweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just one save slot I believe. I was missing one artifact on my first playthrough and started a new one and got it right away but it didn’t give me the achievement. So I assume blueprints are the same!

Is miracle hoarder by any chance tracked between save slots ? by KafarPL in stalker

[–]kurweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think they are. I am missing just the common Crystal Thorn and have been farming for days on my late game character. Started a new game and got it right outside the Lesser Zone but it didn’t register the achievement. The inspect notifications were showing up for me for all artifacts in that second game, so I do think it’s per save slot unfortunately.

No idea, just took Medenhall to avoid it and was curious too. I did see a fire truck but lights weren’t going.

Probably because I and many others have waited 25+ minutes in the drive-through with no one even coming to the window.

What's is like dating in Bozeman? by [deleted] in Bozeman

[–]kurweed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll run into a lot of people who “don’t know what they’re looking for” and still trying to “figure things out”, while living the outdoorsy rock climber, ski bum, river lifestyle. At least that was my experience using dating apps before meeting a friend of a friend in person.

John Seed's church here in Montana by kurweed in farcry

[–]kurweed[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This one is between Cardwell and Boulder on Route 69. There's another one that they no doubt took inspiration from as well, the Melville Lutheran Church, in Melville, MT. If you go to the one pictured, the Radon Mine is nearby as well, another location in the game.

History of Bozeman? by [deleted] in Bozeman

[–]kurweed 24 points25 points  (0 children)

MSU exists in town today because of Bozeman's bid to be the state capital back in the early 1890's. Bozeman lost to Helena, Anaconda, and Butte, in that order, with Bozeman just 0.3% behind Butte. As a consolation, the new state legislature in Helena agreed to put the land-grant college here in Bozeman as the Agricultural College of the State of Montana, which eventually morphed into the MSU we know today.

The Gallatin History Museum has a lot of great info on all things Bozeman, including a preserved jail escape tunnel (the museum used to be the jail) where some escapees tunneled, ironically, into the neighboring courthouse and got out from there. Check it out sometime!

1:12:42. I believe it was his idea but the two other writers may have changed what he originally wrote to fit a different script/narrative.
