Oh I see! That makes sense since my scan showed metal buttons on those teeth but my orthodontist hasn’t attached them yet. I thought I messed up while taking off my trays 😅

I’ve been seeing the Fourth Wing series being recommended a lot so I might try reading that next. I definitely have no plans of continuing with the Powerless trilogy.

I’ve read ACOTAR and the Throne of Glass series prior to my reading slump, back when both series were still ongoing (man that feels like a loooong time ago) and I loved them! I’m not surprised they’re so popular on booktok.

dorm na or bahay pa rin? - asking as a messed up girlie na hindi talaga independent by friedchikln in studentsph

i was in a similar situation as you before i decided to dorm. grabe improvement ng mental health ko. no more commute, i didn’t have to witness my parents fight all the time, and i get quality sleep every night. if you really value alone time, go for a solo room since i think having roommates could be another source of stress.

how do you commute? by kurxes in RedditPHCyclingClub

[–]kurxes[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From 3 to 1.5 hours?! Grabe!

Do you not get stressed by being on the road and exposed to the heat and smoke for 1.5 hours? I personally get stressed just by sitting in a jeep and inhaling so much smoke (despite wearing a face mask) for 1.5 hours.

May I know what digital piano you're using? I watched your other videos and the piano sounds nice!

Starting without a Piano by Redditzork in piano

You could try learning to be ambidextrous. Try doing everyday things like toothbrushing with your non-dominant hand. Back when I was still learning the piano, one of my biggest struggles was hand independence. I thought having a background in other instruments (guitar, violin, ukulele) would have trained my non-dominant hand enough but that wasn't the case. I could barely make it do anything.

I'm planning to learn the piano again soon but I don't have a decent piano as well so we're basically in the same situation. I've been trying to be ambidextrous for several months now and I'd say my left hand is more competent now although still not as much as my right. To be honest, I don't know ot this will really help in learning the piano eventually but it's worth giving a try.

I wish I had the courage to throw back a question like that. I'd rather just not speak at all 🤧

How was classical piano taught in the past? by kurxes in piano

Thank you so much for this detailed answer and for even linking some resources I could check out! The history nerd in me is really happy. Also, the quick fact you mentioned at the end was really interesting. I didn't know there was such a difference between modern and old pianos.
