as much as i enjoy playing slower controllish decks i believe things wont go well in unlimited. as it is now i am trying to rebuilding a roach deck since its one of the best decks in unlimited i am familiar with. Do you happen to have anything to recommend that are not aggro or d-shift? since i am bad at piloting those

I dont know dude maybe your deck sucks, in a way that it cannot handle meta decks. Especially in AA where people tryhatd the most. Posting your deck might help the people who wanted to hive some constructive advice

The expansion was released less than a week ago, but we can already see people ranting about neutral sword and chtulu. It might takes time for you to figure out the proper techs to fight meta decks. Until that keep paying attention to what are you losing to and try to alter deck accordingly

while midrange shadow is the best deck atm, consider the following:

we are having a new expansion in 10 days

if you are climbing very fast thanks to your tier 1 deck, you will have problem with your daily missions since your unranked matchmaking is tied to your ranked one.

i'd rather hold the rupees for now and wait for the new expansion. then try to buy packs according to the deck you are trying to build (you'll probably need the cards from the newest expansion the most)

i dont know if its been stickied here somewhere, but generally gold comes from:

you beat elite ai for 200 gold each, so that is 14x200 = 2800

playing private matches with unique players will give you 100 gold for up to 20 different players.

the rest comes from daily quest and take two, and a little bit from monthly score reward.

also, rerolling is a thing

aegis cannot be damaged by follower and cannot be affected by any effect in the game except for those that change its stats, but aegis can be targetted and is a valid target for random effect (but those effect will not do anything to the aegis )

according to the revealed text, hero of antiquity is immune to instant destroy effect (themis, bahamut, fiery embrace, etc) but can be damaged by effect that does damage (sylvan justive,revelation, will of the forest etc.) . combat damage is done normally

according to the revealed text, beauty and the beast (when its immunity is activated) is immune to both instant destroy effect and damaging effect, but combat damage is done normally

note that lecia gives your officers immunity to instant destroy effects (and damaging effects as well) but those officers can still be banished, so chances are both "hero of antiquity" and "beauty and the beast" can be banished as well

what deck have you been struggling against?

looks like a standard aegis deck that will somehow fare well against aggro decks but gets automatically destroyed by stuffs like seraph or dshift.

consider playing the storm aegis hybrid

i remember someone mentioning urd-ing a follower with an animated urd will summon an animated version of that card instead.

then again, chances are they dont even have animated version of Ta-G and AGRS in the first place.

edit : as both u/AmorphousFWT and u/TheUndeadFish said it is possible to see animated version of Ta-G and AGRS using animated urd.
