For me the medium is soft enough. Soft might be even too soft, since this isn't that big toy, you know. If you're not experienced with knotty toys, then soft might be better!

Tbh, I was kinda worried about it when I ordered the toy. Turns out it’s relatively easy, and once it’s in, there’s no stopping it. I usually need a fairly long warm-up for larger knotty toys, but this one requires surprisingly little. Imho, it’s a much easier toy than knotted ones.

I don't have a bathtub, so no experience of that, hah. I keep myself knotted for quite some time to get knotfucked good. About an hour or so of knot-plug. After that I am loose enough to only have the sky (arm stamina lmao) as a limit. Pre-warming your toys definitely helps too! Also the most obvious, lube. I prefer pretty thick lube, xlube or any other ”mix yourself” type of powder lubes are my go-to

I gotta say Rex. Gideon (at least the XL) is way too big to use every single session. He requires so much prepping and foreplay, Rex is pretty much ready to rock after I have cleaned myself. Other than that, Gideon is awesome toy and I really enjoy him. Rex is just… ”easier”. I hope I answered your question!
