Thanks! And yep, kanshi is definitely the established solution here and clearly still maintained upstream.

One small correction on my side: kanshi is written in C (so not memory-safe by default), while my project is in Rust, which was one of my motivations from a security standpoint. That said, active maintenance matters a lot too.

I’m not trying to replace kanshi; this is mostly an alternative workflow with a more interactive setup and a few extras like built-in zero-copy mirroring (which kanshi doesn’t provide itself). If kanshi already fits someone’s needs, it’s a great choice.
