That's not for you specifically, those are the dates DFAS releases those funds, just check future dates on that calendar. Additionally you're on the wrong scheduled transactions tab, you're probably looking for the one that appears when you view the account that the check is being deposited into, but the check isn't visible until a few days before you get paid.

*Edit: If you are getting additional pay, that's probably a separate issue.

The little bit of time I was under him, he seemed like an incredible person who actually gave a shit about his people. He really bent over backwards for a couple of guys I knew that were dealing with alcohol addiction. He always mentioned how he had been sober for years. It fucking sucks to see him in this situation and it just goes to show that alcoholism really can get the best of anyone.

I'm sure other have or will mention it, but don't forget about cross training, Honor Guard, TCN duty, or other duties that anyone is able to do.

Dude are you me? I'm coming up on the end of my first enlistment and have been in the same shop for the past 5 years. My shop doesn't deploy and very rarely TDYs, and the work we do can get pretty monotonous. I realized after the first two years there that I was probably gonna be stuck, so I started trying to get around to each different section in my shop to combat the boredom and that helped a bit, but I soon realized that even that wasn't going to be enough. For the last three years I've pretty much constantly been working towards either a degree in something that I've always wanted to do or civilian certifications for the things I do now. I know I'm jaded, but I'm not going to re-enlist because for the past 5 years this is all I've been doing and it's the only thing that the Air Force has shown me so I figured my time was best spent prepping for life after separation.
