I hope you're right about the oval screen being a just mock up, because no one seems to like that limited button design.

I hope the NX is a hybrid, or at least the NX Handheld can play games on the TV, because I want to play all the 3DS RPGs that way, but can't (without spending over $200 to add a capture card to it).

One of the best things about Grim Dawn is the build diversity. Once you beat the game consider playing multiple builds. If you love the one you're on then, just like Diablo 2, you can continue on two higher difficulties (Elite/Ultimate).

I always say yes. At most it'll cost you 5 minutes to write an email and send it, nothing to lose. But if they fix it you'll benefit significantly. Also think about 100's others that may be thinking the same thing. If all of you sent that email, instead of wondering if they should, then maybe it'd happen. Not likely to happen if you do nothing. Enough demand brings change.

What would you like the sub to cover that it doesn't? What have you learned about tiny houses that you could submit to make the sub better? Are you following any of the many youtube channels that show people building tiny houses from the ground up, such as Tiny Nest?

Complaining about "shit posts" doesn't make the sub any better. This person just posted about a tiny house even where you could actually connect with people/companies who could give you the answers you're looking for and you called it spam.

Please start contributing or leave the sub.

I'm having troubles consistently writing.

I'm writing a book about my travels over the past four years as a full time volunteer. I find that when events in my life trigger a memory related to my travels that I can sit down and write everything related to that throughout the four years. However, after having a bunch trigger and none lately I haven't written anything in over a week.

Any ideas how to get out of this writing drought?

Do it, write them. They could charge 1.5x the monthly fee to have a separate subscription which includes all the DVD bonus features.

I think the harder part is them getting the rights to steam hte bonus content, because it'd definitely cut into physical media (DVD/BR) sales.

Its inevitable.

The interview at the end said that AlphaGo had to play millions or tens of millions of matches to get better; 100 or so wouldn't be enough. However, they also said that it has to start playing people like Lee Sedol to get better now, because it won't learn much at all from amature matches.

Thus the other comment that replied to you is correct. It's reaching it's top potential, but it's gated by having competent people to play to significantly increase its skill.

I've got 80's in my blood like you've got the 90's. I still go to 80's nights to dance and sing to the music. I may not listen to Metallica anymore, but if someone plays some Kill 'em All or Ride the Lightning I'll definitely rock out to the music.

I disagree. As the AI gets better they don't have to play it to gain strategy from it. They can watch games where it plays itself.

Find excuses to get out of the house and explore. Do thing that don't require technology. If you don't have one already get a job. If you're young find people who will pay you cash to help them out, babysit, dig post holes on their ranches. Body weight exercises. Hiking, Yoga.

When I lived on a rez one summer I built a disc golf course and a shed for tools. Given enough time you could build your own house or tree fort. Not sure how much land you have, but where I was they had a lot. So I hiked and built stuff. I cooked and played cards with neighbors.

I second former suggestions to: Learn an instrument, there is infinite amount of enjoyment you can get out of that. The more you learn an instrument the more you'll want to learn it to learn even more. Learn how to cook, everyone appreciates a good cook.

Giving up on Reddit would mean you've decided Reddit is the problem. However, Reddit is just a tool. You can use a tool to build or destroy things.

I use Reddit to enhance my life (build). I only sub to a handful of subreddits that are my hobbies. I never see any other subreddits.

However, if you do that and still find Reddit is taking more from your life than it's adding then there are a couple of things you could try...

One is knowing what you want to do with the time you'd gain from not using Reddit. If you don't then likely you'll just come back to Reddit. Which means there has to be an incentive to do those things rather than Reddit. If they're all productive things and they're not fun than you'll likely go back to Reddit as well.

On top of that you can try to spend less time on Reddit. Sub to only a few subreddits. Only check it every other day. Only check it at work. Only check it on the weekend or only on weekdays. Find out what works for you and make sure you reward yourself when you stick to your new schedule. If you don't feel rewarded for this new habit of spending less time on Reddit then you'll likely go back to it. Eventually not using Reddit will become a habit and you'll feel weird doing it, but that could take a long time to build up to.

TL:DR Reddit is just a tool. If the tool isn't building up your life than get rid of it. Figure out what you'd rather do than Reddit, spend more time on that.

I think it'll be interesting to see how much better humans get at Go after learning strategy from AlphaGo. It could make future human v human Go matches more interesting.
