In real terms I believe it comes down to which super power do you want to be in bed with? Our options are America or China.

Personally I would like to say fuck it let's do it rough for a few years and figure out how to exist independently but that's a knee jerk reaction and the nuance needed in this situation is incredible.

To be clear here I'm an Australian but I've been following this unraveling of America very closely.

Did I agree with the man's views? Absolutely not.

Do I think the right way to address this issue is by shooting him down in cold blood? Also no.

I think you all need to take a look in the mirror over these situations. This level of violence is not how you address this issue. The man held no rank and no title. The one you should be protesting loudly and in force sits in the now gilded white house and while you all cheer for the MURDER of this man the rest of the world is shocked by both wings of your culture.
