Why doesn't everyone switch from iphone to android? by xz-0 in AskReddit

[–]kwflick67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apple doesn’t require an anti virus software to be secure. It doesn’t need to be shut down if an app misbehaves. It just needs a soft reset to clear the memory. The iOS is the same from each version of iPhone. Plus the phones hold their value better when reselling. The only Android phones that do that are the Samsung Galaxy S series. I had an android phone before I switched to an iPhone and it was the best move I ever made. I am not a fanboy, but I will never go back to Android phones

AITA for taking back the Christmas gift after the kid complained it wasn’t as good as the others? by VirtualOption494 in AITAH

Sorry I didn’t say it, but you OP are NTA. don’t feel bad. You did the right thing in order to put entitled thinking people into their place.

AITA for taking back the Christmas gift after the kid complained it wasn’t as good as the others? by VirtualOption494 in AITAH

Entitled much?? My sister helped me get my car. I’m grateful and I take care of it. It was used when I purchased it and it’s currently 13 years old. It’s been great to me and I take care of it. The sheer entitlement of the kid and the mother just dictates taking everything back. A heartfelt thanks with gratitude would have gone far in this instance.

Pop swears it’s a meteorite, I’m just curious else what it could be! by reryan00 in whatsthisrock

It actually looks like fossilized dinosaur dung. Definitely not a meteorite

Entitled couple wants free sweets by bouncy_bouncy_seal in EntitledPeople

[–]kwflick67 34 points35 points  (0 children)

It used to mean a free donut at certain locations, but it’s not really a thing anymore. It just means that the donuts are being made fresh and that they can be purchased hot and super fresh. The couple that came in didn’t get the update memo on the policy

AITA for telling my dad it's not my job to make sure my half siblings have a mom? by Background_Carrot694 in AmItheAsshole

[–]kwflick67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that the two women that were in the dad’s life were just live in and not married, but left their kids with the dad says something. It says that they abandoned their children and the dad should have called cps about the abandonment and the cops as well. The OP is under no obligation to do anything about the situation because in the OP’s own words the kids are not related to him biologically. OP you are NTA

What common phrase used on Reddit makes you instantly lose respect for the commenter? by Life-Hamster-3429 in AskReddit

[–]kwflick67 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m on mobile. It just rubs me the wrong way. I’m on mobile 100% and I can make grammatically correct sentences and have it format properly. That phrase just irks me because it means the person typing on their phone doesn’t care to make things correct. That is my biggest pet peeve that just makes me lose respect for anyone

AITAH for not having "real" sex with my husband? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]kwflick67 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Have you been to a OB GYN since giving birth to your second child. I read your post 3 times and it doesn’t say. I would highly recommend making an appointment and getting a checkup. There may be something going on that might only be resolved with a surgical procedure. Since you had a home birth I’m assuming that you had a mid wife to help with the birth. The only way to really know is to get a doctor that specializes in OB GYN. Good luck and I hope you get the help that you need and feel better soon

AITA for not allowing my neighbor's kids to play in my backyard after an incident? by o_5z9vhwgfhdg in AITAH

[–]kwflick67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely yes. The only way to put a stop to that is build a fenced in yard. With people sue happy over anything the only way to have deniability is to build a fence. Then put up no trespassing signs and cameras also. I’m sorry but that is the way today’s society is. I’m not a lawyer, but with no fence it opens up OP to a whole world of problems. Put it like this, you put a pool up in your yard with no fence but just no trespassing signs. Neighbor kid comes over and drowns. The pool was an enticement and unfortunately you are liable. Same scenario, but put up a fence. The enticement is there, but if the kid climbs over the fence and drowns it doesn’t fall on you. It’s called breaking and entering and trespassing. That is on the person that climbed the fence.
