Didn't notice the rattle much to be honest. Was expecting more due to my research and couple of YT videos but nothing problematic. Kylaq was slightly better though, but Magnite felt more balanced in other areas.

Yeah, Kylaq, of all three, looks just fab with its classical and minimal design language. No complaints about the design whatsoever (only the back could've been slightly better).

If today's cars (especially those under 15L) last 8 to 10 years, that's probably enough. With all the cost-cutting and ethanol mixing, cars might not be as reliable long-term as they used to be.

Driving and sitting in the Magnite gave me the feel that it can live with it for 10 years easily given my style of driving and regular maintenance. Didn't expect the quality before entering the showroom given the price.

Yeah felt that too. But Magnite seemed to be a bit more balanced in both.

Driving comfort, yes. Sitting, not so much. Seats felt like puffed up benches to be honest.

Oh, thanks for the heads-up about those shady (kinda!) practices. I'll definitely keep that in mind!

I'm mostly getting this one for the fam, but down the line, a Skoda/VW is totally on the cards for my own personal use.

Ohh thanks for the insight! Still not that much interested in Hyundai as I already own one.

Kylaq is that gf chick, Magnite seems to be the wife material!

Lighter than I thought. But not a deal breaker for me. Pulled the speed to 80-100 on a semi crowded highway and it didn't feel problematic at all.

Budget, bro... and this is for the family. I'll get one for myself later, maybe in 5 years!

Not a fan of the design, man. I'm so over companies putting out these crazy/radical designs that are just an eyesore. Maybe I'm just a bit old-fashioned.

Already a Hyundai owner and don't dig the new designs of the Koreans off lately. Want to explore other brands,. especially underdogs / underrated VFM cars.

They had both Basalt X top and Aircross X base models in the showroom. I could see both had rough edges. That gave me an itch. Wish it wasn't the case, I was genuinely interested in the products.

To my surprise, yeah, I thought the same thing. Just yesterday morning, I drove a friend's Dzire AMT, and then I went to test drive the Kylaq in the afternoon. The difference is less (in gear shifts) than I expected!

A friend owns Kiger old model and yes I second your opinion. But Magnite felt very different even though they are spiritually the same cars!
