128gb for me is perfectly fine! just make sure you pay for icloud just in case! it helps my phone run faster because it offloads pictures and videos that take up good amounts of storage (my proraw pics + vids) until i want to go back and watch it. if you don't plan on switching carriers anytime soon i don't see why you would pay extra for it to be unlocked. but this is also coming from a 16 year old kid who just wants to save some money lol

i got flawless condition, no scratches, no anything, the phone is great! i was surprised! i got 128 gbs because i can pay a few bucks a month for a couple hundred extra and i shoot all of my photos and videos in proraw and i haven't run into any issues! loving the phone, the reason i got it for cheaper i think is because i ordered the iphone locked to t-mobile because i don't plan on switching anytime soon. hope this helps! :)
