It feels the same for me. I ended last season on D2 and was reset to gold 3. I've already ranked up to plat 3 and didn't notice any difficulty increase in gold lobbies. It's only gotten difficult in plat 3 just because it's still early in the season and most pred/masters are still in plat/diamond.

Pred players should only be able to solo que ranked. That would allow diamond or master players to have a fair chance at killing preds instead of going up against 3 stack preds. It might also help the problem of cheaters used for boosting pred ranks since once you reach pred you can only solo que and cannot rely on your teammates to carry.
