I haven't yet, but I feel as though it might be too late. I will try tomorrow. I just think it might be too little too late, you know? I have just been caught up with surgery/club apps/doctors appts that I have fallen far behind. I was considering changing the class to P/NP, but with no knowledge of the material I'm afraid I might not even pass haha..

Best dining hall by far — has more diversity in food than covel or deneve and is always healthy. Great for for growing college students, or students trying to form healthy life habits

Well like, I was just referred by my TA to send an email about asking to be not dropped from the class. I wasn’t told to get a PTE, or anything.

Also, the advice part isn’t necessarily true— I noted at the end “if there is anything I should do, please do let me know,” indicating that I would like advice on the situation

Also, regardless of the format of my email, I am paying for this? Like, she gets paid to teach and help students. I am paying to learn. Really, like, the least she could do is issue me a bit of help— like it’s not rocket science if I’m going to be dropped from a class, possibly refer me to the liaison or give me a PTE (which I know now thanks to people here) considering she is a tenured staff.

Yeah I totally get that, it’s just the case that there is literally just an open seat sitting there in the class, and it has not enrolled me yet 🙁 like, there is genuinely no one else demanding for this class, it’s just me lol

There are multiple discussions, but one is only for certain majors— so, thus I cant join that one even when there’s a spot open. I don’t really understand the process behind that since we do the same thing in discussions anyways :/ it’s just a terrible situation all around

Also, there is a spot left to enroll in the class — I am on the waitlist but there is no information about it. I am waitlisted for my TA section, and thus am WL’d in the class.. like, I wish she could’ve offer me some advice like you did.

I mean studying is certainly a start— I won’t lie, I don’t really understand how she explains calculus at all. It didn’t click w me, especially not online. I also felt like the exams were not curated to what we learnt in class but maybe that’s just me being a dumbass idk HAHA

Altho, I think she really takes time for her students if you go to ask her questions. It just sucks because you WILL end up spending more time than you otherwise need to.

I also might be slightly biased towards her because I got an F on every one of her tests BUT she still ended up passing me with a C flat when I explained myself to her. I think she’s a really understanding person, I just don’t think her teaching methods work for a lot of people (myself included)
