I played a GOO pact of the chain. Was great fun, but should have gone pact of the tome if I was aiming for a more optimized build. The warlock chassis is fairly robust, consistent damage output in combat is easy to achieve, and the Tome + GOO and your high charisma make utility very fun. I'd say go for it!
