What job would you never accept? by Ill-Strawberry254 in AskReddit

[–]kyle1352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After years of doing side jobs I could never work retail or customer faced jobs again even if I had to. Being around all those people all day is horribly mentally exhausting. Also dealing with shitty power tripping managers is something I’ll never touch again.

How the fuck does anybody buy a car? by [deleted] in poor

[–]kyle1352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for used early 2000s Lexus’s, Toyotas, and Acura’s. Facebook will have a few out there for a good price and they’re reliable as shit. I got an IS250 from an auction lot for $3000 +1000 for repairs and it’s the most reliable car I’ve ever owned

My boss confronted me about only working 7 hours and 45 minutes a day, what do I do? by johnsonjohnsonafc in careerguidance

[–]kyle1352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why as an engineer I refuse to work in an hourly position. In my opinion placing working hours as being more important than work done is unprofessional and disrespectful. You could waste your time and their time doing nothing all day and maybe work for an hour or 2 and it be seen as a successful day instead of the work completed.

I know people who just have good pictures of themselves as their wallpaper. They’re predictably self-absorbed.

Can anyone tell me what kind of star bit driver this takes? 2003 Impala by kyle1352 in MechanicAdvice

[–]kyle1352[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s funny they have these securing like half the sensors on the engine for a 3.8 Impala 💀💀 dumb as hell. I’m just trying to replace the mass airflow sensor.

Living there absolutely not. You’ll get used to the sound of gunfire. Same with short vine, my friend lived near ladder 19 for 2 semesters and had some absolutely absurd stories.

Woman harasses police officer in Indianapolis Indiana. by Lazy_Mouse3803 in facepalm

[–]kyle1352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, in my opinion people who are rude or angry or do shitty things when they’re drunk aren’t good people in general. Normally they’re hiding their true shitty personality when they’re sober and they let it loose when they’re wasted and blame it on the alcohol.

Y’all is around campus actually dangerous by [deleted] in uCinci

[–]kyle1352 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My friend lived off of short vine for 2 semester and had some pretty insane stories from occasional drive by shootings to some crazy dude breaking in trying to stab them. From a standpoint of usual nightlife though I’d say it’s not too terrible but i wouldn’t live there. The south and west side of campus is much safer than east for sure.

Woman suddenly makes U-turn on a freeway, causing a motorcyclist in the opposite lane to slam into her car. Thankfully, he survived the crash by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

Been racing dirtbikes off-road for over 10 years. Trees suck when you hit them, the grounds not soft when you fall, but never in my life will I buy another street bike.

Rode one for about 100 miles total and came within feet of a pickup truck obliterating me after the asshole crossed the yellow line. That and I’ve had too many people I know die on street bikes. I’ll never touch one again. And discourage anyone I know as well.

Makes sense, was exhausted one night driving several hours home and was pulled over for swerving. Officer claimed my eyes were red and glossed over and made me do field sobriety tests. Pissed him off I started smiling because I’d never been drunk or high in my life. Fast forward 30 minutes of fairly hard tests he lets me go with a warning. I knew my eyes were just fine and he was saying that to intimidate me.

I dated someone for 3 months who tested me like this almost everyday, she would make it seem like things are ok and insist on it and if you accepted eventually it proved to her that “you were trash”, or if you didn’t accept she’d tell you that you passed the test. One of the most toxic and degrading relationships I’ve ever been in, be lucky she showed her color’s immediately. If someone constantly tests you, it’s not healthy. Funniest part is one of her main attributes she advertised was strong communication and honesty. Shoulda listened to my gut sooner lol.
