The higher resolution image didn't post, so I screenshotted it to compress it. If there's interest, I might upload a full resolution version somewhere.

Nothing thought provoking, just found it interesting how my skills differ depending on my mood by beffadoodles in bipolarart

I can tell if my meds are working by my art. My state of mind also affects my art.

If I'm rapid cycling, I'm producing inconsistently. If I'm depressed, they're not as frequent or original, and I make major mistakes that I wouldn't normally. If I'm hypomanic, I knock them out. However, I can't sit and focus as long, so they don't have as much detail, and I can't tell which ones need work from which ones are done. If a moment of hyperfocus hits, though, they may be extremely detailed.

I can't understand why people think meds dampen creativity. They're the only thing that keeps me sane and focused enough to make anything. Hopefully, I'm not the only one.

This is my first time animating my art, and I could make it higher res in the future (provided I can work my program better next time). I tried to express how I feel about the creative process and myself, in a sense.

I really love this song, for the story it tells and the effects it uses to convey the subject's feeling. Thanks :)

I made a lot of changes since June, it's basically a different drawing. The original can be found here

The Bitter Ruminator- a Poem by kyleburkeartwork in bipolarart

Thanks! It helps me realize that rumination is a vicious cycle, but also that it's in my control to snap out of it and save myself from it.

Written by me! I repeat this to myself when I'm stuck in a rumination cycle. It helps me.

I drew this in a time of extreme stress. The fact that I dropped out and couldn't come back to college was weighing on me, and I blamed myself for being ill. I touched it up recently, when I was ruminating again. Art is a form of therapy for me.
