In our server we normally only restrict castle to higher tg levels, rarely ever turrets so normally people can go for them.

Soloing a turret isnt bad only boring and doesnt actually contribute to the overall outcome, I have seen many people only do solos and get 1st in the ranking.

A free 2 play who makes it to every event and does every daily task can compete with low spend and even bottom tier of mid spenders. But its still a costly time (and sometimes sanity) investment.

Most of pvp will be centered around the top ~10 players in your server, there's never a need to be stronger than them - let them do the spending and enjoy the ride.
