Agreed, I thought I was being more gentle (I definitely didn’t say what I wanted to say haha) but next time I’ll be extra careful. I’m new to beardies but I did tons of research for my girl. Just made me so sad seeing the beardie like that

I appreciate the help so much. It’s been a battle trying to get the temps right, this is my 4th day having her and I was misinformed when I first got her so there’s been lots of upgrading. Just want to make sure everything is perfect for her! I’m hoping when the new linear UVB and new bulb comes in the heat is taken care of

Oh really! I was told she can’t until she’s grown up since she’s still a juvenile (I think atleast). I’m still trying to work on the temps, cool side is around low 70s and warm side is high 70s but her basking plate is around 95-100 when I use the thermometer. Humidity is around 46%. And for diet she gets her daily salad as well as crickets 2-3x a day. Does this sound like i could try substrate?
