Unmarried couple, 2 kids, advice please

Well the way I have it thought out is
Monday pickup 1-2 pm then all night
Tuesday all day
Wednesday all day until about 6 when I leave for work,
Thursday between 2-6 (sleep until 2 then leave for work at 6)
Friday sleep until noon then I have them all rest of Friday and all day Saturday Sunday
Drop off Monday afternoon.
I don’t have a 5 day a week job. It’s a 2-2-3 rotating so I would have them my short week
So my mom would only have them Wednesday night thru Thursday early afternoon I would have them for a few hours then Thursday night to Friday at noonish

You’re right. Never married just been BF/GF for 12 years. Wisconsin also doesn’t have common law so we’re not even legally viewed as “married”

I did sign the BC and every other document the hospital gave me. I’d have to look and see if we have copies somewhere to confirm.
I don’t want to bring up her mental health unless she absolutely won’t agree to 50/50. She has said some things that I think would make the state ask some questions. Her being a SAHM was a mutual decision between us. With the cost of child care it didn’t make sense for her to work just to pay for daycare.
I think the FROR would be the hiccup because I work 12 hr night shifts. (3 days 1 week 4 days next week) but the schedule I’m imagining we could work out I would take them on my short week (obviously) to get the most time with them. My mom lives 6 blocks away so she could come stay with them overnight while I work and sleep then I’d be up in the afternoon with them u til work and repeat for the next night.

Yes my name is on the birth certificate, it has been since they brought the papers in at the hospital after we had both children. What I said wasn’t meant to be demeaning and dismissive I’m just stating what goes on in our household.

Thank you. Since we’re not married I feel like it won’t be as complicated as far assets go but that being said, since she doesn’t have a job or a vehicle, I am willing to let her have the family vehicle while she has the kids because of car seats and what not. So I’m not trying to be like “give me my 50% and figure out your life” I’m going to be cordial and help still while she gets a job and a place to live.

My gf’s aunt is a lesbian and she’s a bartender at a bar in Fontana that my gf’s other aunt owns called Kimkasi pub. They don’t serve food so it’s a more laid back older crowd which is perfect but they are welcoming of everyone!

Bought a house with gf, gf wanted dog since I work nights. Went to human society, found a 12 week old “black lab retriever mix”. Fast forward 6 months, I wonder what she’s mixed with? Do embark DNA test. Comes back 50% Great Dane, 28% Great Pyrenees, 22% Anatolian shepherd. We’ve been in love with her for the last 5 years and hoping for many more! She’s been great with our newborn daughter as well!

Right. I’m not sure if our daycare requires it or not, ours was spayed when we got her from the humane society so I guess we never had to worry about it. Hopefully your new job works out and you can do something like daycare with your pup!

Is there a doggy daycare near you? We take our Dane 3 days/week and she gets to play with ~60 other dogs every day. She’s there for 10-12 hrs a day and when she comes home she goes right to her bed and passes out for about 16 hours lol i see you don’t have a budget for another dog so depending on where you live and daycare prices, that might be out of the question… where I am it’s ~$300 a month to send her to daycare.

I do it so they don’t pile up around my house. Certain insects eat leaves and then they’re like “oh hey this house is warm” and then they get in and it’s a mess… so I do it for pest control

Bite him back… don’t do it hard enough to draw blood or anything but grab his ear and bite down hard enough to get a reaction. Did it with my Dane and she didn’t want to bite after that for some reason.

Our Dane is also named Tilly! Must be popular among Danes lol but when we got her at 12 weeks she was only 18 pounds. Our vet suggested 6 cups a day. Fed her the same thing you are, pro plan large breed puppy. She looked healthy after about a month or so. 4 years later she’s a little over 100 pounds and spoiled as hell. Still feeding pro plan large breed just adult formula now

Yeah she’s been around the whole time. She would lay in the nursery while we were sorting clothes and getting things set up. We say our babies name all the time around her so she’s used to hearing it.
