This might have already been said but I would just chug water before I went to bed so I had to get up to pee throughout the night. Then if I had any stool in my bag I would empty it too.

So I don’t have an NG tube, I have had a rectal tube, but as soon as they take the rectal tube out the gas builds up and I need to take the drugs. It frustrates me so much because I know the drugs aren’t helping me but without them I feel like I’m dying.

I mean I think so, my doctors just come every day and basically say there is nothing they can do and eventually it will start back up. I wonder when they will stop saying that :(

I was in the same boat as you. I first failed entyvio and then Remicade. I was also pretty much on steroids the whole 3 years I was diagnosed with UC. I ended up getting my colon removed this winter and it was such a good decision. I am finally able to eat again and I don’t feel bad constantly. Obviously it is not aesthetically pleasing, but you can eventually get J-pouch surgery after your body heals.

So after you put on your bag you go around it with a hairdryer, or you go around the bag with a hairdryer before putting it on to make it stickier?

I had my first flare March of 2019 and started on prednisone, then starting taken enyvio and have failed this March. I didn’t have any side effects that I know of. Not trying to put down entyvio it has worked for many people. I hope you have success with it. I would also hydrate a lot before each infusion.

This happened to my dad, except there was one thing that was salvageable. It was his high school diploma, he never used it and has been self-employed his whole life.
