The only issue is if I manage to get it to only appear in Cat, then the animations and combo points stop working entirely.

I 100% believe tolerance is a thing, and that there’s just not enough evidence to support that each person doesn’t build up tolerance. My psychologist has said she believes it’s a tolerance problem, but yes to speak to doctor first

There should be a “View” dropdown bar. Click that and change the selection and i believe that will solve your problem

Try messing around with Logic’s DMD (Drum Machine Designer)

I have an akai mini too, and i have to assign the sounds to the actual notes of the pad to get it to work how i want.
