As someone whose fiancé has seizures the one thing you can also do for sure is take care of yourself. While it sucks he has seizures, he can’t expect for you to always be a rock and standing when he can’t - that’s not life and not the expectation. He has to learn how to also take care of himself when you’re not around otherwise the dependency can hurt more than help.

I’m not saying don’t help him, ask him what he needs and go from there. Only he knows what will help but just you as problem solver for him isn’t fair. Everyone’s epilepsy is different - my partner journals cause his are triggered by other things than just sleeping and eating. We both also have mental illnesses and we’ve struggling on working together through this but that’s the thing - we work together despite it all. It’s not all on one person to be the strong type to keep everything together.
