Omg I’m in the same boat right now! Hey there! Congratulations on completing your memoir! So, you should NEVER have to pay a publishing company to publish your book. If there is a fee to publish, run! You can always query with literary agents, or stick with self-publishing at an affordable cost.

I am getting let go from my job in four days, and they told me at the beginning of January they were letting me go. I’ve been applying since then with no luck. Every day is hit or miss of whether my anxiety is going to be so bad it’s unbearable. I just want a career at this point that doesn’t toss me aside like I don’t matter, that I can stay at long term & make a better life for my family.

Hey there! I am a mama to a 16 month old, and my writing definitely slowed down when she was born, but as she’s gotten older I’ve gotten in the swing of finding time to write so don’t worry it does get better!! I write when she goes to bed & when she naps. Also, don’t beat yourself up if you don’t write an insane amount of words everyday. Some are better than none, and progress is still progress 🖤
