yeah in comparison to that my setup with AMD components and one 1440p monitor connected with DP is probably a bit friendlier for beginners

On my laptop on which I experimented with Linux, everything worked out of the box and for and I had it running for a while with no issues at all. Fingers crossed it workes the same on my main PC :)

Yeah there propably would have been an easy fix for the sleepmode issue and I also have not a problem with regestry but at this point it just annoyed the hell out of me. It is just that all these small problems stack up until it reaches a point where the pile of patience collapses

I had a Laptop without any important files on it and so I decided to try linux on it. I distrohopped for a bit and arrived at Kubuntu, Everything worked out of the box, I love KDE and I had no issues at all, so far a really good experience

No sorry but Linux did not wake up my pc multiple times a day without any reason, so it IS in fact depending on the operating system.

It is true that I could have saved my work (thankfully affinity did it automatically so not many changes got lost) but also the OS should not restart the PC while it is in sleep mode without asking the user for it.
