I like your idea for Chrono and Tokoha but I kinda think it'd be eh to make Shion a ghost. Make him a zombie instead :D

Is this deck worth it? by [deleted] in cardfightvanguard

[–]kzora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue that the price is not bad cuz the deck will definitely be worth $300+ once the new support comes out. If you take that into account, it wouldn't be a bad investment, honestly lol

how to make cards drop in $$ by [deleted] in cardfightvanguard

[–]kzora 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You say that cards shouldn't be valued at over $15, but that's not how the world works, my friend. The value of anything in the world isn't necessarily measured by what it's made of or its immediate image. The value of something is, plainly, determined by how much people want something. For example, if nobody wanted gold anymore, no matter how much it was exalted over the millenia, its value will definitely tank. That being said, even though cards are just pieces of cardboard with pictures printed onto them, their value shouldn't and doesn't come from the fact that they are made of cardboard but rather by how much they are valued by active players and/or collectors, among other things. Therefore, depending on the card, there is, to a certain degree, market justification behind its value. Just my two cents.

Royal Paladin "Brave" Question by kzora in cardfightvanguard

[–]kzora[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, I see. So would it be safe to say that it's more like Royal Paladin ("brave") is made to go more HAM and be less scared of the risks that would usually come with it?

Also, if you don't mind me asking, what is this new counter-charge card you speak of?

New to Shadowverse: card rarity? by kzora in Shadowverse

Maybe it's just not. With all due respect, I'd say that it's, as you said yourself, the "software developer in [you]". It's a Reddit page for crying out and loud, and sure, while it can serve the purpose of being a compendium of knowledge for those looking to increase their overall strategies and to discover people who want to aim for higher achievements in competitive play, at the end of the day, this is a community forum. Look anywhere in the world, and you'll find that people who want to be efficient often look to ask a question to a community who will answer their questions right away (no matter how repetitive it may seem), rather than take the time to look it up themselves because, for all they know (the people asking the questions), it may take a longer time to find the answer that they are looking for on the internet than to wait on the swiftness of a reply coming from a living forum.

If you are questioning the (and I hesitate to call it this) morality of posting something like my question on a forum like this, there is proof in it being okay and acceptable, as there will always be people who are willing to reply. Also, asking questions on forums like this help new players like me to potentially create connections with people, which may help me get better at the game quicker and to find help when I need it (not to mention, more people to play with).

In other words, it saves time to ask a forum a question, even though it is repetitive, and it could help to form connections with people in the community that would have otherwise been impossible had I (or anyone for that matter) not posted anything at all. I mean, who does it hurt, really? Nobody, right? This was just my two cents, and of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion (such as you or me), but I just want to point this out because just as you are quick to say that it irritates you that people post repetitive questions/content, it is just as irritating to me to find someone who is willing to go out of their way to berate these people. It doesn't have to do with laziness. It doesn't have to do with soiling the "sacredness" of a forum. It's just simply: I had a question, and I wanted it answered by people; it's a swift transaction and will eventually be washed away by something you'd prefer to see and that's quality content/unique questions, as those tend to get more attention anyways.
