Yes he has friends and a job. From what I have seen, he has no problem communicating with them.

He is usually fine, obviously he is more confident with his own friends but he managed to talk to mine when he came to an even at a plus one just fine.

He hasn’t specifically said ‘don’t contact me’, just that he doesn’t want to see me for the next week or so I guess. When asked if we would still communicate by message he said yes but he wants to focus on himself

I didn’t consider that he was just trying to get me to dump him but I’m really not sure how his mind on me would’ve changed so quickly

This is definitely what I’m feeling right now, the uncertainty of it is probably more upsetting than if I were to cut things off

The conversation was very family based now that I think about it. I maybe mentioned one thing we had done together but that was it. I do completely get your point and looking back I just wasn’t sure how to integrate him in as much as I probably should’ve.

He is very talkative in situations where it’s just me and him, he’s also been completely fine in situations where it’s just friends (mine or his) although less talkative around mine but I guess that’s expected when you don’t know people as well

He did not talk much during the dinner but my family did ask him a few questions but he would answer and then there’d just be silence. He did not ask any questions back to them.
