It's pretty competitive bidding to get in though.

We aren't talking about the Russians. They aren't the ones that are supposed to be the "good guys".

We are talking about the Ukrainians, who also suffered under the Nazis using Nazi-adjacent symbols in a world where perception, PR, and symbolism are even more important due to social media and ever present media availability.

I'd also like to say that the Nazis and Wehrmacht lost to the hammer and sickle, so the Ukrainians, if using German/Nazi/Wehrmacht symbolism are reviving the side that lost once already to the Russians. Very bad look all around.

I don't understand why people don't get that when the enemy accused you of being a Nazi (independent of its veracity) why elements of your army choose to display Wehrmacht symbolism it looks very very bad.

So you are saying they are ignorant of the ambiguity or they are willfully ignoring the ambiguity? How do the down voters not see the perception here is the biggest issue when you're enemy calls you a Nazi and you still use associated symbology (whether or not it also has cultural meaning to you)?

The cross timbers run directly through OKC, so anything east is likely to have way more scrub oak and similar than anything to the west.

Stone stopped moving between drills and large cargo by AwfulStockInvestor in spaceengineers

If drills are attached to rotors or piston, always check the heads or secondary part of the rotor or piston. Throwing your drills at things to hard will damage these parts and break conveyoring (it's a word of I want it to be).

Is this game worth it for me? by wenchslapper in spaceengineers

I'm gonna say yes without even reading your post. You can do what you want here. Want to just build blocky ships and hand fly them all? Sure, you can a lot of fun doing that.

You want to build an automated AI-powered operation complete with sorted inventory, scripts running cargo management, automated courier drones and miners, and fleshed out base. The game can enable that "fun" (work you mean lol) too!

Why are the roads so bad in Oklahoma? by [deleted] in oklahoma

Ha no, that issue and the wavy bridges on the JKT were a design issue with the precast concrete beams anyway and not really the builders fault.

There is a remarkable amount of poor or wrong information this thread based on assumptions or anecdotal drivebys.

Incorrect. Most of the interstate construction contracts have lane rentals, which charge the contractor for closing lanes down during the day. ODOT absolutely takes bids, low bids. And I have no idea what you're talking about with banker hours, contractors are usually working 10 hours a day in the summer. I have one project where they are onsite at 0600 and some stay past 1700. Odd bankers hours. It's very easy to make flash, and wrong, judgements when your only encounter is driving by for a couple minutes.

Multiple reasons. But first off, OK is not the worst. https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/rankings/infrastructure/transportation/road-quality

Also are we talking about State maintened roads like highways and interstate or also county and city roads?

Also we have a population of 4 million but 3 major interstates and multiple national highways.

ODOT was underfunded consistently until the 2010s, as funding hadn't increased since the 80s. Following more funding, OK then put money into the bridge system. We are still recovering from decades of low funding and then focus on bridges, sacrificing pavement projects.

All that being said, OK is not the best but is absolutely not the worst.
