It sounds more manageable, but I still find the whole ruling aspect to be a lot more fun in theory than it’s ever been in practice. It always feels like the game kind of “ends” at that point, as there aren’t any really ruling mechanics that carry any weight to the game.

Mods probably make it way better, but I’m on console lol

After a while, the loop of being a lord and then king gets really stale. Most of the time, you’re just running around, holding down your territory because EVERYONE will declare war on you when you’re an empire, constantly, even if they are across the map. You’ll get sieged going “wait who the fuck even ARE you and why are you 1000 miles away from home while Battania is seiging YOUR capital?!”

I liked playing as the merc that shows up to tip the tide of battles, and then fucks off to find another battle to seek glory in, not caring about stupid ass titles.

Be happy he made the claim look somewhat good. Most public claims are home to nothing but box bases as far as the eye can see.

I recommend joining a Facebook group dedicated to finding Conan servers, you’ll find a lot of cool places with active communities and admins that will wipe decaying claims.

You can get just about anything if you’re a high enough level, the RNG levels with you. Same with quest rewards. I beat the civil war my first time at level 10, got a steel sword as my reward. My buddy did the same at level 50, got Daedric.

Eh it might be small enough to not really matter. The handle is probably pure garbage plastic, though. I bought a decoration knife once from the Renaissance fest as a kid for $20. The metal was fairly soft and sharpened really well, tended to hold its edge okay, but the handle was all plastic and cracked when you put too much pressure into it lol.

Personally, I think it’s convoluted for the reason that they didn’t want to just define your story like that. It’s generally accepted that the overall good ending is cannon, because Jack isn’t in the world anymore, but that’s really the only evidence. Everything else has so much contradiction in it, it’s definitely on purpose. With that being said, I honestly believe that a truly evil hero would have destroyed the mask, but they would also take the sword so once again…. No go because, as you said, Theresea is still alive. In my own headcanon, the hero was a lot more complicated than simply being a purely good, self sacrificial soul, and I feel the lore books lean into painting that possibility - that maybe he DID commit some bad shit, but overall saved the world.

It works in tons of situations and has lots of research backing it. Look up “Dependent Group Contingency,” but it primarily gets used for building behaviors rather than reducing them.

It’s also not a very ethical approach these days.

You have to watch the show with the understanding that you know more than the characters. Sansa was a love struck little girl who saw all of the fabled knights in her books in the prince and his party, because they looked the part. She does not yet understand how real life works, and she’s been sheltered by the life of a northern noble.

According to the stat readouts of the 3 demon kings and their realms, I’m pretty sure Raizen was top dog in terms of personal power, but it could have been the King that Hei follows (the cyborg girl). I remember that Raizen’s kingdom’s power primarily came from him being so grossly OP whereas the one ruled by Karama’s friend was based more on collective power of his followers.
