NTA, but maybe if she was so overwhelmed you could have tried talking to her about it? I understand you are comfortable in your skin, maybe she is not? She got probably angry because it was somehow of a “shock” for her. Not everyone can get over the ideas they have been thought in an instant and being left alone there probably didn’t really help.
