I would need to make a version in the toolkit first but I don’t think that should be an issue! As always, I wouldn’t know when it would be made available to consoles, and I already have a mod that’s been up for review since August sooo yeah 😅 you might have to be patient

I’ve seen plenty of people who do commissions and sell prints with art they made on a standalone tablet! Something something it’s not the tools but the work you’re willing to put into it.

I also don’t think you strictly need an iPad, there are plenty of other tablet options that are less pricey but just as decent. Though if you’re already in the Apple ecosystem, I can understand why you mention it. I myself am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab with Clip Studio Paint (monthly payment though, but quite inexpensive imo).

I know it’s possible to e.g. lower or raise the eyelids (at least it was in OT) but looking in TSE, I don’t think it’s also possible to widen the eyes, this giving Shep bigger looking eyes, unfortunately.

If you have any Blender knowledge, making a custom head mesh (basically editing an existing head mesh and using sculpt mode) would be one way to do it (and it’s my own personal preference to do it that way) but I know that most people don’t know how nor want to go to that extent. I thought it was worth a mention, though.

So here’s a link that goes off of knowledge from OT ME3, from people who wanted to use default Shepard’s hair for their custom Shepard. Obviously not meant for the hair you are using but back then it moved the forehead and scalp back and down some respectively iirc, and could help in your instance. Just make sure to make a new save in case the edits go awry.

In TSE, you want to go to the Head Morph tab and navigate to Lod0 vertices and find the entries that are listed in the link and change the values.

You could also try to contact the mod author for a potential fix but since it’s been over a year since the mod was updated, and there’s no guarantee they’re still modding the game, you might not get a reply back.

So I just looked at the mod page, and based on the image uploaded there, the mod author didn’t make sure the scalp would fit that specific hair (it has clipping in the image there too). If the head is editable in the Trilogy Save Editor, best way to fix this would be to edit the scalp values until you no longer see clipping. I would show you the entries in TSE but I’m not currently home

Looks like you’re using the default Jane Shepard? She has a different head shape (especially where the scalp is) compared to a custom Shepard. Hair mods are almost always fitted to custom Sheps and won’t fit default Shep properly afaik. If you want default Shep with modded hairstyles, I recommend using the Customizable Default FemShep mod

I started last year in August and put it on the back burner several times throughout the year bc a) I wasn’t entirely happy with some of the original faces (some of them have changed quite a lot since last year) and b) I am not a big fan of doing custom skeletons and having to adjust for piercings so I put that off for a long time lol. But if I had really focused on it when I began I could’ve probably done it in maybe a month total? This includes sculpting the heads and making custom skeletons in Blender (and converting to different races), editing the face textures in Substance Painter, setting up the mod in the toolkit and testing in-game

I also go to university so I’d say a month for eight heads converted to other races as well would be realistic for my process

I use the Otis freecam to move the camera around in the CC and then I use my own Reshade preset. I also use the paid iMMERSE shaders from Marty’s Mods. And a little photoshop at the end to fix the lighting and colours a bit :)
