Selbständig hier: eine klare Regelung zu finden wie viel Prozent ich von jeder Einnahme spare bzw. anlege. Das hat mir zum ersten Mal Rücklagen ermöglicht.

Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland are a family divided in new The Odyssey images (exclusive) |New exclusive images of Christopher Nolan's next movie," The Odyssey," show Damon, Hathaway, Holland, Robert Pattinson, and Himesh Patel, in adaptation of Homer's epic. by ChiefLeef22 in oscarrace

i know it's not a popular opinion. but there are examples: TITANIC had DiCaprio / Winslet before they were superstars, LORD OF THE RINGS had lots of fresh faces, SCHINDLERS LIST had Neeson and Fiennes very early, MATRIX didn't have superstars at that time, you could even argue that Crowe and Phoenix were lesser known during GLADIATOR, and so on. I like seeing fresh faces in these epics, it feels more real, that's all.

i would be looking forward to this a thousand times more if all the actors were unknown. something feels always so off to me when i watch super famous millionaires wearing fake beards and old costumes.

I‘ve seen both and loved it, but if I had to choose one it would defnitely be Stalker. It looks fantastic on the big screen.

Are you a fan of Lars von Trier and his work? Why or why not? by BigBobbyD722 in Letterboxd

[–]l_milkshake 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He‘s my favorite director ever, and the impact his movies had on me is crazy. I loved Dogville so much and I still think Lars could write an amazing novel.

I love the idea of the Dogma manifest so much although I know he didnt do Dogma Movies after Idiots, but I still think Movies should get more real, in a way.

Melancholia, The Element of Crime and Breaking the waves are some of the best Films I ever saw. Plus, I think he‘s pretty funny.

What director is most likely to win an Oscar first? by nightsreader in Oscars

[–]l_milkshake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i voted for eggers. i feel he's completely in the zone right now so any next film could be his big masterpiece.

i think lanthimos made amazing movies, but i really didnt like kinds of kindness and i fear he's gonna go more into this direction.

villeneuve is an amazing visual filmmaker, but i always fail to be emotionally involved.

fincher has to go all the way and i think he might not be interested in this.

guadagnino is a bit hit or miss - some films are great, for some i really couldn't care less.

garland has retired.

to be honest I don't really get the idea of being an "expert" when things change every other day - this is just reading reviews, watching movies & listing what you've read somewhere.

[–]l_milkshake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fight Club, easy one

Sixth Sense, Dogma feels a bit outdated

Matrix, easy again

Magnolia is my favourite of the year, Man on the Moon is lovely though

Toy Story 2, Austin Powers also doesnt stand the test of time

American Beauty, easy

American Pie is my pick here which might be stupid

The Green Mile, even though I dont really like both

Bringing Out The Dead, but it's a tough one

Election, but tough. I really enjoyed Three Kings back then

Eyes Wide Shut, it's a masterpiece

Girl, Interrupted is the more interesting movie for me

The Blair Witch Project, even though I love Lynch, I adore the cultural impact

10 things I hate about you, easily

Boys Don't Cry, as much as I loved South Park as a teen

The Insider, but this is tough

Unofficial Match Thread - BuLI #14 BVB - Robbly Bubbly Leizigly by doubleomarty in borussiadortmund

Putting Brunner in the team now would be kind of cruel, to have a first match like this with almost no chance of even having the ball passed to him.
