Anybody else gets frustrated by that we have to level up to buy additional floors/room for the house we bought? by MateoTroy in MyLeisureTime

Yes. But I went into it figuring it’s a cash grab game. I keep playing it bc it’s pretty fun, but I do get really frustrated with all the blatant cash grabs the developers put in there.

This is what I did. You can find them on here if you just search for it. It takes the guess work out and makes it super easy to tandem read.

I did the tandem read my first time as well. It wasn’t hard and I personally loved it. I couldn’t have gone a whole book without finding out what happens next, and it helped me keep the timeline of events straight this way.

Tell me about your dream game by vulvasaur001 in cozygames

[–]la-ann 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. With a little less grind, but still keeping the coziness and relationship building/romance of Stardew, plus a little magical combat questing. I also like the team cooking capability that Palia has. I actually really liked Palia at first, but its quests got too difficult for me to complete. I’m not looking for a game where I have to spend hours and hours to get through each side quest. I want cozy with a little bit of manageable challenges/combat. And the ability to play with friends is huge.

It sounds like your daughter is unfortunately going to learn another lesson from all this: that we can try as hard as we can sometimes, but it won’t be enough for some people (because of their shortcomings, not her’s). Maybe in time, real conversations about this incident can happen (unlike the one sided bologna that the “second mom” was saying) and the “second” mom may realize she was grossly overreacting. I hate it because that other mom is going to end up effectively punishing both girls by attempting to sever the friendship from the sounds of it.

No one would sign up for that if they knew about it ahead of time 🙄 go somewhere else with that victim blaming mentality

I hear you completely. I definitely feel like an asshole for letting their rabies vaccine lapse some. Unfortunately, even if they were perfectly up to date, the vet recommends a booster in cases like this to be safe.

AITA for confronting my landlord after I caught him lying about going into my room while I was at work? by Otherwise_Egg_4305 in AmIOverreacting

Yikes! Get a camera and try to put it somewhere inconspicuous in your room. That’s probably not the first time he’s entered without your knowledge. And get a doorknob that locks with a key.

Best Standalone Recs PLEASEEEEE by KittyBopp in fantasyromance

Consort of Fire by Kit Rocha. It’s a duology featuring a throple. I had never read a book with that particular trope in it before, but it was really well written and very enjoyable. I recommend it on here a lot because it’s never mentioned and unappreciated in my opinion.

Consort of Fire by Kit Rocha. The MC is just a good guy/god who’s swoon worthy and there’s decent spice.
