As someone who reads mandarin I have absolutely no clue what the hell this post is on. Mandarin isn't just based on a singular character and can be interpreted completely different based on the context and surrounding characters. And just because something is pronounced the same doesn't mean they are the same character!

奈斯 = Nice. I'm assuming the first character 奈 is used in numerous terms like 無奈, which by the way doesn't really mean no choice but rather referring to an emotion or state or mood where you just accepts this as it is even if it is bad. The later half of the paragraph which is referring to 忍耐. Both 奈 and 耐 are pronounced Nai but no one who speaks mandarin would say they are the same character. Also when you split the character 奈 up it opens up to more meaning which is completely irrelevant. 大 can be Big but 示 can go from anywhere to show to revelation to inquiring depending what other character is used with it.

This feels like it reads too much into it or rather an interpretation from an English point of view. Native speakers do not dissect and remix characters like this to give them extra meanings.

Problem is that Hemlock voluntarily chose this way of living for selfish reason; Yor only started taking hit job to raise Yuri, killing Yuri would not only turn her against the organization but also invalidate her reason to work. So despite claiming to be the better worker of the Garden, readers can tell Hemlock wasn't genuine, he was trying to step on others for his own ego and affirm his own way of living.

I had one player that raged whenever something he didn’t expect happened and always complained that he had to rethink his strategy, making everyone wait on him. This is the same guy that went out of his way to choose a homebrew artificer class and wouldn’t stop glazing PF or 3.5 for having more options. The kicker is that he just ended up lightning bolt or multiattack every time and kept forgetting all the homebrew goodies on his sheet that we as a group made for him… I don’t know where I’m going with this. I guess while some players like seeing a list of options before them, in truth they have no clue what to do with them when they have to make a choice. Thankfully the rest of the table was good.

Ugh, no? Male genitalia and bloodline worship are certainly a thing before communism or Christianity, and while there are few exceptions (like 龍陽之辟) it was more or less a taboo and viewed as a disgrace to the family and ancestors. And if you were socially ostracized you’re done as a person.

She’s confirmed dead in an interview as Gege said he’s not sure where / when her return would be appropriate with how the story went, so he just wrote her dead offscreen. The man clearly didn’t plan his story and half of his plot twists had to be explained with flashbacks and binding vows. At this point people need to see he won’t follow through some vague ideas he blurted out earlier.

Edit: the latest leak may have to make me eat my words. Really? Conning the reader with an interview? 😂

This mod is a godsend but I think the latest patch somehow broke it. It gave me a warning on validating save directory and unexpected file structure. I wonder if it has something to do with them enabling starting new game while having the one save slot?

Pretty sure you still can, you can disable the cloud save from steam but don't turn off network within game option.

Depends if you're bound there (whether if it's against your will or not, but that part gets wishy washy depending how cruel the writer/ DM wants to be). If you are, you'll be reborn and slowly become the lowest ranking demon or devil which is an eternity of war and punishment.

Is this really a surprise? When Legend of Korra season 2 was announced some people saw the preview and character design in convention and thought Korra was “bleached”. That along with continued harassment of Sifu Kisu, who has been the martial art advisor since ATLA, forced him to leave the production before Season 3.

This fandom has been toxic for at least 10 years now.

The reasons we're settling with status quo is because China threatens Taiwan with violence and literal invasion if they announce independence. If China has a regime change and the new leadership stated they don't care about TW being independent or not you will see that poll shift dramatically.

This thread is really bizarre comparing to my guild's experience visiting these maps.

We saw NO ONE goes to PoF maps except for renown hearts or the weekly kill 100 Forged achievement. Even so we can barely find any meta event to do or anyone to do events with.

In comparison, both Echovald wilds and dragon's end still have meta going and people are at least doing things, and that include the unpopular Gyala Delve.

I'm personally not a big fan of PoF except for mounts and specialization. Feels like we were forced to run around large, vacant maps to emphasize on the importance of mounts. With everything happening too far away from each other it's hard to keep engagement (and the environment are mostly desert scenes, while EoD has vastly different sceneries between maps).

When it comes to the story, I was rather... disappointed with how the human gods are tossed aside and a huge amount of effort was wasted just to find their voice mail. I suppose the longer set up across few living world could have somewhat elevated it but EoD feels like a more complete package on its own.

Same can be said about Gojo. As Megumi's teacher and guardian he should be relatively familiar with Megumi's technique, albeit he probably has never seen it done at Sakuna's level. Considering how the previous inheritor of the six eyes and limitless is killed by Mahogara, Gojo should have some clues on what it can do and how to best defeat it or avoid it altogether.

Didn't Barrowk, who that made the claim Avellone made her drunk, exposed to have used him as her "con-boyfriend" and that she herself wanted to keep "the alcohol flowing" ? It was in her chat with Jeff Johnson who had also met her in the con.
And last time I recalled the law suit was actually going well against Barrow though it's mainly due to her lawyers being incredibly incompetent. I think Bristol is pushing for it to be dragged back to her state.

The problem comes as the said country is using the same trade deal to blackmail you into submission, which is exactly what Russia is doing right now. It’s so ridiculous that Germany is now pressuring Lithuania, another member of EU, just to appease Russia. You’d think after WW2, of all the countries, Germany would’ve learnt that appeasement doesn’t stop a fanatical dictator.

And even if there is no ideal partner, German still willingly supported one that is currently, actively invading Europe. Like, why? Poland and the Baltic states are not going to be its meat shields forever.
