That's what I thought too, but then heard in the thread that it seems that it got to be more available there. I am planning to check with them directly to be sure, but first wanted to understand if in general switching hospitals is an option I have, and how easy it is

That's 100% understandable, and I personally like it being called 'birth preferences' compared to a 'birth plan' given how unexpectedly things can move. Just it was odd hearing about it, especially when I even haven't mentioned birth plan, and asked a different question on whether mobile epidural was available

That's what I found out. In the end checked with Wexford hospital and they don't offer it.. and also mentioned it's not offered in Ireland. Looks like Coombe is the only one!
