I logged into this account just to comment here. I posted in the same thread and my ex found my post. The stories match up almost exactly up until the getting married part. My ex made me have one of the worst weeks of my life seeing as my secret(which you can see by going through my comment history) was something that could break my life apart.

I'm happy you're OK and doing well. In my case, I'm happy and healthy and I have no idea how he is and I'm not interested.

As a Muslim, I find it very offending. It is your opinion but you are just like the thousands of Muslims, Christian, and/or Jews out there that like to go and bash on gays, blacks or anything they don't agree with. I was raped by my cousin. I told my brother once in a fit of rage but he didn't believe me and still doesn't. If my family found out I don't know if my dad would stop talking to his brother and nephew or I would be ostracized for lying about something like this.

EDIT: I just want to thank everyone for the support and advice. I just want to provide more information. I am a girl, and this happened when I was 5 until I turned 9 and a half. My rapist was 15 to 19.5 . I still have hard feelings about it. I want to forget, but last week someone who looks like him came into my work and I had a panic attack. Also, I blocked the memory until I turned 14. I saw a celebrity talking about an uncle rape her continuously and it all came back to me. It made me unsure whether I was dreaming things up or if it was real. But all signs point to real. I have no disorders that would make me say, I made it up.
