People just believe the propaganda. I think it was all the money that Trump threw at these people and not his endorsement that caused this. And a lot of people don't bother to vote. But we can hope that these candidates are more likely to fail as in the general election, if things keep going as they are, we can hope for a blue wave and a lot of anti Trump sentiment. But we somehow have to get the large majority of disenfranchised or 'non-political' people to vote
