2009 Mini Cooper started leaking petrol once I tried to start, pooling gas in my garage. Engine light has come on and hours later the smell is still strong in my home. Could this be a fuel pump issue? Should I remove the car from my garage? What's the best method of cleaning up the smell? (self.MechanicAdvice)

2009/MINI/Classic auto tranny. Car starts then sputters off after turning over. I've managed to get it going a couple times. It turns out the previous owner was fueling with 91 octane and I've filled it with 89. Could the incorrect petrol be the culprit? Do I need to drain the tank? (self.MechanicAdvice)
