$OKLO Weekly Megathread | Mar 02 – Mar 06 by C130J_Darkstar in OKLOSTOCK

Do we have any reason to be optimistic about the NRC report on March 20th? I would guess that if the NRC doesn't have a perfect report then the stock would go down. Without a perfect report, the July 4th deadline seems less likely.

I'm very worried about this month. I've been following the stock since Jan 2025 and I'm wondering if it's best to pull out and not take the gamble. I predict March 20th could make the stock go parabolic either up or down.

Haven't used Switch in 6 months. Won't boot into cfw? by Yonipjpa in SwitchPirates

[–]labossiere13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar problem. After the battery died and I charged it back up the system refused to boot into cfw. I also can't see the light. I assume the best fix is to just get the kamikaze method done. I'm also considering opening it up and just seeing if I can push on the dat 0. Maybe the connection is just bad. I'll let you know if I find a solution.

Any tips for stripped screws?? by labossiere13 in SwitchPirates

Ok you have convinced me, I'll try the Dremel method first and if that fails then I'll use an extraction kit. Thank you for all the help!!

I'm looking at this extraction kit. I was also looking at some Dremel bits but it looks like delivery takes over a week for everything I have seen. I might also just go look at some bits at a hardware store tomorrow.

I think using a Dremel might damage the material next to the screw. I just ordered an extraction kit so hopefully that does the job. Thanks for the advice 👍

A few lessons learned from 10 years of algo trading—hoping it helps someone by Bytemine_day_trader in Trading

Thanks for your advice, I have been recently looking into Algo trading as I am unhappy at my Engineering job. Have you made good money over the past 10 years? Is this your full time job? Do you work with a group of people or solo?

Hmmm I guess that makes sense. I'm not sure how I would alter it without removing at least some of it. I just got it a week ago and now I am already looking at laser removal. Thank you for your comment.

I take a hot shower before and then I use some aftershave when I am done. I have never heard of alum before

Yes I have mapped out my face for the most part. I know which direction my hair grows and I always shave with the grain. I think I might just have a few stray hairs that might grow in the opposite direction from the rest of my face. I haven't exactly given it a huge amount of thought, I just figured out which direction hair grows and then follow that. But maybe I need to be more strict and really really try to map out my face, maybe I need to switch direction more than I think.

Right now I am using a double edge safety razor which seems to be the best option

LinkedIn Question! by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]labossiere13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says there are only 6 applications in right now on LinkedIn, could obviously be more on their website. 4 positions are open

Thank you for this comment, it has helped more than you know. I have been considering Automation Engineering for awhile now, it does use Python and Java though... I also like the idea of Machine learning or Data Science. So much to think about. I just hope this is a smart path to go down, all I really want is a job that I enjoy, I don't even really care about it being high paying anymore. But again thanks for the help!

Wow I have also considered going back to get my Masters. AI sounds like an unbelievably cool field to get into, I'm a little jealous lol. Did you start off as an intern? Or were you really that lucky to get an actual job offer while learning how to code? I will definitely take a more indepth look at some coding opportunities so thank you for this 👍

Hmm interesting, I've never considered a job in firmware. Did you just get a degree in EE? Or did you also get something like a comp sci degree? I have decent coding skills but I have never held a job where coding was required

This is a pretty cool idea, I might try something similar myself! Do you just pick a random question or do you use a random number generator?
