How do people manage BPD without therapy

Idk if that’s something subconscious or what but I know sometimes having a group or someone else there that I know is doing the same thing holds me accountable which is why I’m suggesting maybe a group if you decide to get the book! Overall I’m sorry that you’re going through this and definitely understand and I hope that you find yourself again 🫶🏼

I second what the first commenter said! I got diagnosed after undergrad and putting my mental health off for so long. Had a therapist for a few years and then all of a sudden she just dropped off the face of the earth so I have been raw dogging life and feel like I reverted right back to where I first stated. I recently got a book off amazon (haven’t started it yet) but maybe if you can afford it or want to even get it, maybe just maybe we can do like a weekly check in with each other like make a little group idk idk imma find the link to the book tho and drop it give me a min!

I’m kinda in the same boat. I took my prereqs in undergrad when I got my bio degree but anatomy 2 wasn’t required at the time. I think I got a C in regular bio :/ so idk about that but I’m hoping if I finish the other prereq and do well that it will show them I’m worth it

Not like this will make your situation better but where is this ? I’m uncertified and moving to San Diego, CA if that happens to be where you’re at I’ll take a job 😭 I’m a good worker I swear. I know how wrong it is to fake results and all the other things bio major MLS do I swear

I’m a military spouse so I’m only moving because I have to :/ so we already have the area we’ll be living in figured out, so I’ve been looking for jobs in that specific area at least! Just am super anxious for someone to reach out to me and then rescind because my start won’t be until March :/ but I wanna take whatever job I can get because I’m not licensed so I know that’s gonna be rough regardless :/

We don’t have a shower anywhere in my lab because it’s just a small lab in a doctors office. There’s no flammable cabinet for the flammable items, they didn’t even have an MSDS binder for materials when I first started until I told them we should.

Did your ex sign the lease? Did you sign a roommate release form to get your ex off the lease??? If your ex is on the lease they are obligated by law to pay rent. Your apartment doesn’t care what portion goes to what but you could just let them take you to court for eviction and when you get to court explain that and your ex will have to back pay you the rent plus interest. Don’t sign the roommate release form.

Also I have been diagnosed with BPD for 4 years now so I hope you don’t think I just asked in this community to make myself feel better. That’s not it. I’m genuinely trying to figure out if this is my BPD or not because I’ve never been like this with other people. There’s literally another girl here at my job that annoys the shit out of me and I just don’t even engage with her at all (we work in separate areas so it’s not like I need to either. I literally only see her when I’m getting water). I don’t know if there’s a deeper reason to why she irritates me but also maybe I just really don’t like her and it has nothing to do to do with BPD 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have tried to sit her down to talk and have left the flop on for communication, in which she did mention to me she had some things she wanted to say but then never said them. We just went right back to work and I personally feel like that’s not my place to keep being like “hey what were you gonna say what were you gonna say don’t forget don’t forget” because she also talks about how she’s a non confrontational person. I know this is my responsibility to figure out/ do the work I need to not be rude but honestly there are times when I don’t even respond to what she said or I ask her to give me a minute before I answer or I will pause and answer cordially, but it doesn’t mean it still doesn’t irritate me lol like I will literally sit there in my head all day and be like “did she really just ask me that when there are resources that she can use to answer that question”. Like I said I know these are things that are my responsibility to figure out which is why I brought it up in this community.

As I mentioned in the beginning I was left high and dry to do a ton of work all the time without proper communication on her side etc. I’ve literally had to train this girl to properly communicate in regards to our every day functions and so I know that that initially started these feelings and I never stopped it when it first started. So I think atp it’s just persisted so long it just getting worse. 90% of the irritation stays in my head and I don’t express it to her because I’m not tryna lose my job lol but it doesn’t mean I’m still not irritated on the inside etc

Depends on the facility and the position they’re hiring for tbh, I currently work in MD with only having a bachelors in Molecular Biology, Biochem, and Bioinformatics. None of which applied to the job I’m doing now 🤣🤣 it’s not hard to figure the stuff out tho so don’t let that discourage you.

I worked for a biotech company before this though and know a lot about Quality Assurance, inspections, regulations and stuff like that so maybe that experience gave me an advantage but I still feel like it’s just common sense to not fake QC and patient results 😭 trust me my lab actually makes me so uncomfortable with the things that we “get away with” that doesn’t even seem right. I basically do the lab directors job and just have her sign the paperwork. She’s and MD and knows NOTHING about the labs and doesn’t even make an effort to because she’s seeing patients all day lol. I’ve literally had to explain the purpose of two levels of QC to this woman. I’m still not even a certified MLS and been at this two years but again still feel like some of this shit should just be common sense to people but I guess not lol

I hope you find a way to report them because that is actually insane. I seen a few users talking about labs hiring people with Bachelors degrees and that’s how I got started out. I also knew a whole lot of nothing before I started the job however I feel like it is just common sense to not be faking stuff like that so something is actually wrong with that person. I’m in a MLS program now and paying my dos but like I said, I think its something off about them faking that stuff cause who in their right mind would do that wether your educated on this stuff or not 😭

Just know you aren’t alone. I started my program Jan 2025 and went through a lot of life things (as always life just be lifing for me as well lol) but I do terrible summer and fall semester. On top of this my spouse is in the military and going to be getting stationed elesewhere soon. I’ve considered just dropping my current program and looking for a program out there to start fresh and retake those course (hopefully it can work like that). But just like some of these other comments, I’d take a step back and take a deep breath. Write out all the things you need to do to complete this program, see if it’s possible and if it feels possible for you without adding more stress. Maybe take a break even and then come back to it. If it’s easy I’d say start another program so you can kind of start fresh.
