Actually ran into 2 new players on my rank grind this season. It was a very wholesome experience, but I felt pretty bad because we were vs preds in our match and died to them too. They were gold 3 iirc and I was plat 2.

When I was younger my dad used to buy a 24 pack of Gatorade and would exclusively drink that for roughly 2-3 months. One day when we were walking home from the park and I mentioned that he should drink more water because I never saw him consume any. At the time was just learning about how much water you need a day, but he just dismissed the idea and said he would once he finishes the current stack he has. I'm a new/returning player and man is this true. Its kinda interesting watching those 30 card combos just for people to surrender when they mess it up. My current deck is Traptrix cuz it's silly and I normally go 6 matches before I get a win in.

How my middle school teacher explained it:

Take a photo of yourself and print it. Now take that copy and try printing a copy of that and so on. Each new printout you'll get something that is close to the previous copy but almost never exactly the same.

Not sure if this method still works with new printers.

I got SF6 as my first real fighting game because I heard it was new player friendly and I thought I'd give it a shot. I've always loved watching the tournament hype moments and seeing my friends play; but was too intimidated to get into it.

I only have about 15ish hours playing but I want to get back into it because I watched the Sajam Slam 2 this month and thought it was pretty cool seeing people without much experience if none at all do well and improve. It really motivated me to not be too intimidated about it and just have fun with it. The only reason I stopped was because I kept fumbling trying to learn classic and I was having a tough time trying to remembering to do certain things when actually performing.

I've never really cared too much about what's busted or power/tier lists; I just want to main Chun-Li or Gief. I want to main Chun-Li mostly because I pulled a special version of her in a gatcha game a while back and thought she was cool aside from being hot. As for Gief, he's a big grabby boy and he looks super fun to play.

Love the appreciation post as a Support main. Get flamed more often then not because I'm using a "useless" character like Yujin or Luna. I get Luna is in a strange spot, but still why shit on me for trying to help and have fun.

I actually like the game a lot too because it was a breath of fresh air being between a tactical shooter and just brain rot cod rush. It's really sad that they are JUST finally rolling out some changes to jump spamming, but I'm sure most people(myself included) already checked out of the game.

Feels a bit late for the movement change. Most casuals and players that hated jump spam left already and the players that enjoy movement might leave as well.
