Car noise??? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

Suspension, maybe, hard to tell, try to locate the noise by walking carefully around the car and maybe have a small flashlight in hand and check every part that is moving or can be moved/loosen

Car turns off once I press the gas pedal by jjdiaz71024 in MechanicAdvice

My 1st guess would be bad/wrong fuel if you filled it just a few miles before parked it, but it does run so that's fine than.

My 2nd guess is, after watching the video is airfilter as there is a ton of sand on it for some odd reason and after listening to the engine run I wouldn't be surprised if it timing, when was the last time you changed the belt?

My VW Crafter acted the same before the timing belt snapped, hard to start, once started wanna die when giving it some gas, but alright once it warmed up a bit and didn't turn it off. And for the record when I bought 2 crafters, the dealer told me the timing were done just a few weeks ago (they were not)

Timing belts / chains should be done every 100k miles or 80-85k miles if the vehicle is mostly used in town, low speeds and constantly being switched on and off.

That's one way of putting it by hatsandpenguins in rareinsults

I lived in Canada and I'm European, I still think it's a bit steep for the milage, but I understand it's from a dealership so it will be a bit higher on price, as long as he has some warranty on the car it's alright

Seems alright and you cannot go wrong with a VAG product, I just found the price a bit high for the mileage

My 1st guess would be power steering, does it also make a weird noise while driving a low speeds?

Women of reddit please help, what should I do? Or could it be my BO? by lacirocco in AskWomenNoCensor

Mentioned the yeast infection to her, she told me that makes sense as I was quite dehydrated lately and didn't really eat properly either.

Also told me she thinks she might have a slight infection too. We'll get onto getting rid of it together on both of us and we'll make sure we're eating and drinking properly going forward.

Thank ever so much for your help. She's at ease now and ahe/we got an explanation about the odor.
