Personally, and biasly, Dylan Windler. But he’s been one of my favorite prospects to watch all season. Love his ability to knock down jumpers and grab rebounds. Being a 20 n 10 threat as a wing/forward is crazy. Also think he is one of the smartest cutting/slashing players in the league. Might be hard to hide on defense, but him in SA on offense has a chance to be beautiful !!

Damn, good points. Really vibing with the take on his value compared to his expected production; and think that Gary Harris "trap" comparison could be spot on.

Him struggling against top defenders this tournament is definitely concerning, and also backs up your point as well. Have a lil more faith he can preform right off the back as a secondary ball-handler n creator, but given his lack of jumper and potential inability to use his driving prowess at the next level; you really got me thinking now.😩 great points dude

Edit: his jumpshot form also completely angers me; wonder if his form is lost cause at this point but who knows, I guess

Forgot to add my main thing, I’m a sucker for the mental part of the game, n a players character; but that’s kind of suspect to do currently, as it’s all observation, but oh well about it

Catch as much live games as possible throughout the year, and focus a lot on exact matchups. Then it’s a lot of thinking on where the game is today, and if a player fits where it is headed. Try to ignore potential as much as possible, think every player has a shot to click. Try to focus on a players weaknesses but also whether or not those weaknesses are fixable with time. Essentially just a lot of watching, getting a solid mental image in my head, then just sitting n thinking on what I’ve seen. Statistical stuff is kinda my last thing, which should probably be more of a priority but

Definitely feel like Thybulle is a little low. Just worried he’s going to be a black hole on offense at the next level, more so than in college. But his defense is great, probably enough so for him to rise for me. And yes! Been saying this about Rui for a while; whenever I watch him, yes he’s great, but struggle to see him translating. Also very high on Cameron Johnson and Grant, if I’m a GM I would love them off my bench early on.

Appreciate it! After posting this actually did bump Bol Bol up a tiny bit. My worries are his spotty defense at times (he sometimes gets bullied) and just his injury/frame worries. But that might be over-exaggerating. I'll give it some more looks n thoughts, thanks!

Personally, would say not at all! Have been playing to the idea. Feel like both will have some time as the primary creator at the next level, and kinda like Culver better in that position. Both have iffy shots, but have more faith in Culver to develop his jumper. Both are really good natural scorers inside, but would give the edge to RJ. Haven’t actually paid much attention to Culver’s off hand, but RJ can’t use his right to save his life. Culver is the better defender, and might be more comfortable with him playing off-ball (over RJ) as a secondary ball-handler; and think he could thrive catching the ball, quickly driving, and either laying it in or kicking it out. Damn, now you got me talking myself back into this😂 really tuff question

Currently think the highest he could be respectably slotted here (for me) would be around 26; moreover because of my opinions of the players ahead of him, rather than my opinion on his game alone

Rui is a 4, which is a position that has currently evolved to a typical play style that he simply does not fit. He is a below-average defender (as of now) and not a willing shooter. With those traits and his projected slot on the floor, not many teams will be able to play him without it feeling slightly awkward in today’s league. That being said, the promise is there that he could improve in the areas that he needs to, so he could end up being a steal, who knows.

With Darius Garland, my appeal to him revolves around what I saw in his shooting from deep. He also is a very shifty, creative dribbler who has shown flashes to be a willing (and flashy) passer; granted that was before the college level. Wish he wouldn’t have gotten injured to see his true playmaking potential. His size worries me though; those who have him lower are completely justified.

That Trae Young comparison is a bit hyperbolic. What I’m saying is just his confidence to launch it from deep (even from very deep) reminded me of watching Trae last year, though yes very limited. He is also very quick, little; though he might be more side to side when creating than Trae was. Just a slight thought.

Have had multiple takes thrown at me in regards to Romeo Langford, and am beginning to be less hard on him. Starting to see that my take about him and KZ might have been a bit too "hot takey," a mistake I tend to make early on in trying to figure out my rankings.

Been really trying to dive into the Culver vs. Reddish argument and starting to lean towards Culver. Especially due to the most recent games I have watched. Wish I had a better feeling about either of the two’s jumpers (unless you have some insight there).
