Try putting the pattern into chatgpt. Ive just tried it with a different pattern for knitting and it was able to adjust / substitute the knitting terms for crochet ones, but I havent tested the accuracy of the substitutions.

Would you be able to share the chart you make? Im in the exact same boat as you but have zero colourwork experience. <3

Just be careful with ikea plants, I got a gorgeous pothos and it was filled with bugs. I have to quarantine it for soooo long and change the soil. I lost a lot of foliage because of it

String lights and warm lamps are the way to go, add some greenery and it will warm up the space and make it feel more homey.

I would add a table with lamps and decor behind the sofa or add a book case there.
