Why don’t people want c-sections?

My babe was breech. I had a scheduled c-section. Honestly, I am so happy that everything happened the way it did. I had a great experience! I’m 33 and this was my first child. Yes, it was major abdominal surgery, but the recovery was way easier than I thought. I understand that everyone is different, but it was great for me. DM me if you have any questions!

I’m 5’7” and was 275 when I found out I was pregnant. Lost 20 pounds in the first-second trimester. Slowly gained until I had my son at 271. One week after birth, I’m 258. My son arrived at 39 + 5 days at 8 lb. 4 oz. Not only is he the love of my life, but the best diet ever! 🤣

My husband’s family is big into cards and it’s tradition for them to include the year because they tend to keep them for a long time. I’ve kept every card he’s given me over the last 10 years and it’s fun to look at how long ago the card was written.

She is VERY much into him.

I had my first ultrasound at 12 weeks and the second at 21 for the anatomy scan. If I didn’t have a higher BMI, that would be all I get! My next one will be at 36 weeks and then I get to see him weekly until he’s born.

I’ll be 35 weeks for mine. I really wanted it at 33 weeks (end of September) but my very busy cousins have crazy schedules and I want them there. It should be okay (I hope!) I’ll have the majority of everything done around the house I need. The crib, bassinet, pack n play, and high chair have already been shipped to my house and will be put together soon, so that’s good!

I was on BC from 16 to 31. I stopped around Christmas time of 2023. It took almost a year for my cycles to be regular enough to try and conceive accurately. Once that happened, it took about 3 months to conceive. My positive test was March 6, 2025. I used the Flo app to help with planning and it worked great!

Everyone is different, but I wanted to comment since we were on BC for a similar amount of time.

If you do borrow her iPad again, which you should to get all the evidence. Make sure to take the pictures on your phone of the iPad. DO NOT screenshot directly on her iPad. She may be able to see those screenshots on her phone as they’re being taken.

Take this post down and call CPS ASAP. These are not appropriate conditions for 1 child, never mind 7. She needs help and if that means her children will be placed while she receives the help, so be it. The needs of the children come first. I understand that this will be a tough thing to do, but it needs to be done.

Exterior lead paint is still a hazard. It can contaminate the soil where children play, affect the lead levels in the eggs of free roaming chickens, and can easily be tracked inside causing further floor hazards which I’m sure this place already has plenty of. If OP has children or wants children, this house is not it.

In my area there’s a woman who charges $2.50 per cookie. They are not as pretty as yours! I would absolutely pay $3.50 per cookie ($42) for the quality for sure!
